On April 7, 2016 many of you know Becky underwent her Laser ablation surgery, a last attempt to kill this tumor that was causing her paralysis, tremors, and many other difficulties. The surgeons originally had thought the surgery was a success, but later learned that there was still some marginal tumor left behind they were unable to burn.
As of July 12, Becky is at home with her family, resting comfortably where she wants to be. She is currently undergoing her last form of treatment, as she has exhausted all other options. We remain hopeful that it stops the tumor from growing so we may enjoy more time with her and her amazing/funny self (even in these tough times, she hasn't stopped with her jokes and never let's us go too long without laughing or smiling). We do understand that the chances of this last Chemo aren't very high in killing the tumor but our girl has always seemed to beat the odds somehow, whatever the outcome maybe we know it's God's will as Becky has continued to remind us.
For anyone who wants to visit, please contact my mom on Facebook to coordinate. Anyone who has been sick or feels sick is strongly urged not to visit, as Becky's immune system is comprimised from the chemos she is getting. Please limit visits to 20-30 minutes tops, as too many guests exhaust and overwhelm her. All visitors will be asked for leave by 8pm so she can settle in for the night.
We appreciate all of your constant love and support over the past 4 years. I know Becky is forever grateful for all of your support and prayers. We love and appreciate you all.
Thank you & God Bless.
