Round Two (12 weeks of weekly Chemotherapy) started on May 22. This round has been completely different than the first four treatments. The first week I did suffer from quite a bit of muscle cramping and pain but that has not returned. PRAISE GOD! Tomorrow will be my fourth treatment. So far I am feeling wonderful. I have energy and no physical side effects. My mother returned home to Hawaii for the summer and so far things are going smoothly around our house. I am finally getting back into the swing of things and most importantly, the kids are starting to feel a bit back to normal. They have started summer camp and love it. I have to say, it feels great to be able to get up in the morning and have just a regular day. The feeling of being sick all the time and unable to do my daily tasks was really taking a toll on me. God has and continues to be faithful and I am so grateful for another day. I can’t thank you all enough for your continued prayers throughout this battle. My next step will be to meet with a Plastic Surgeon on June 21, 2013 to discuss my reconstruction options for after my mastectomy, which will be scheduled sometime end of August.
